Following the way of Jesus. Together.

At Solid Rock Church we still believe Jesus calls people to follow him. For the first disciples, “follow me” was an invitation to into redeemed humanity and new family. At Solid Rock Church, our Missional Communities exist to follow the way of Jesus, together.

What is Discipleship?

We believe the Scripture spells out what Discipleship is. In the context of Healthy Relationships, we should practice rhythms, disciplines, and mission. For the Christian, relationship with Yahweh has been restored and relationship with other humans has been restored. Together, as a new humanity we now practice spiritual discipleship (read, pray, give, forgive), Rhythms (eat, work, rest, celebrate, mourn, etc), and Mission. Together we live as active parts of God’s story to proclaim the Gospel and incarnate the Gospel to the Pomona Valley.

What is a missional Community?

Simply, a missional community is a group of disciples from Solid Rock Church who gather weekly to practice the way of Jesus. Groups meet at various times throughout the Pomona Valley.
