solid rock live scan
In order to serve with Base Camp Kids or Students, volunteers must complete background checks through Live Scan Fingerprinting. These can be completed at any official Live Scan location. Follow the 4 steps below to complete your Live Scan Background Check:
1. Find a Live Scan location: Use this link to find a convenient Live Scan location. First select your county, then you’ll access the list of Live Scan locations.
2. Choose to Walk-In or Make an Appointment: Each location has options for either making an appointment or walking-in to complete the Live Scan. We recommend calling the location to make an appointment at your convenience. If making an appointment online, keep in mind that most sites require the Live Scan request form to be completed online, including both Employer and Applicant information sections. You’ll use Solid Rock’s entries from the BCIA 8016 form to complete the Employer information.
3. Fill Out the Live Scan Request Form: All volunteers will download and fill out Solid Rock’s BCIA 8016 Volunteer Live Scan Request form, accessible here or by using the button below. Solid Rock’s organizational portion is already filled out as “Employer”. Each volunteer will fill out the “Applicant Information” section and bring their completed form to the Live Scan location.
4. Complete the Live Scan: Bring the completed BCIA 8016 Request Form and valid ID to your selected location in order to complete the Live Scan. Solid Rock already covers part of the billing associated with each Live Scan, but each location requires an additional on-site service fee. Volunteers may take a photo of their receipt and email it to lani@solidrock.us to receive a mailed reimbursement.
