Our gatherings are simple. They include time for singing, prayer, teaching and communion. They take place at First Baptist Church Claremont - 472 N Mountain Ave Claremont Ca 91711

Parking Info

We have few parking spots in a lot attached to our facility. Additionally, parking can be found on Mountain Ave, Harrison Ave, and the Jocelyn Center Lot just north. If you're young and able, please park on the street so our families and seniors can have easier access to parking.

On Sundays we prepare coffee/tea  for people to enjoy. We currently serve Wild Goose Coffee which is an approved fair trade product. this means that farmers are guaranteed fair wages. As of 2016 we're also a fair trade certified congregation. You can also come early for some free pastries baked locally at Some Crust in Claremont.

Uber : College

We now offer rides to College students using the Uber App; this is includes the Claremont Colleges, La Verne University, Life Pacific College and more. We pay for your ride to and from our Sunday gatherings using a code we can provide. Email for your code. (Oh, and consider carpooling!)

According to Luke 22:27 we are called to passionately and lovingly serve one another. At Solid Rock we're a family and family does what ever they can for one another. We encourage you to sign up to serve at Solid Rock in many areas such as sound/media, music, hospitality, kids, set up/pack up and more!

We now have a brand new nursery in our building! Infants and Toddlers are more than welcomed to this space. This space is self-serving and is located in the main chapel. You will find many resources to care for your little one in the space, including a changing table and crib for napping.

Kids Ministry

Our Kids are encouraged to participate in the first set of music and liturgy with their parents. Kids can head towards the front after that to go upstairs into Rock Climbers! Our Kids will typically have snack, enjoy a lesson about the Gospel, and even sing! Email for more info.

Sunday Liturgy

Liturgy is just a fancy word for "order of service." At Solid Rock Church, our Sunday Liturgy has modern and ancient elements including the following:

  • Call to WorshipA leader will invite the congregation to sing and adore Jesus in this public place.
  • Prayers for the People - A leader will publicly ask of Father on behalf of an individual or group of people.
  • Passing of the Peace - This time is designated for meeting and wishing peace towards one another.
  • Congregational Singing - God’s people respond: We rejoice in the Gospel! We celebrate by singing truths about God’s love, sanctification and loving-kindness towards humanity.
